Thriller Opening - Planning: Casting & Locations

Casting

As we felt like using someone else will become a liability on both them and us, I feel the best people to ask for their services would be close friends who live relatively close, this means that there will be no issues surrounding availability, location etc.
We decided to cast a close friend of both mine and Louis', Jordan. We felt as if his availability was suitable to the schedule of production we had planned for our Thriller Opening and that his experience in being a GCSE Drama student would help him portray our designed character in the most accurate way possible

Locations

We wanted our film to have the psychological aspect of being as realistic as possible so we decided to shoot in a local forest next to our college. With this being a public area we knew we were going to have to be filming early morning as to not run the risk of accidentally capturing passes by in shot. The time of day should also add to the atmosphere of our Thriller as well as adding a believable natural feel in terms of lighting.
